Luminara Unduli is a Mirialan, a species in the Star Wars universe characterized by their distinctive green skin and facial tattoos. She is recognized by her traditional Jedi robes, adorned with intricate patterns that represent her Mirialan heritage. As a Jedi Master, Luminara is highly skilled in lightsaber combat and the Force, and she is known for her expertise in Form IV lightsaber combat, also known as Ataru.

During the Clone Wars, Luminara Unduli serves as a high-ranking general in the Grand Army of the Republic, leading clone troopers into battle against the Separatist forces. She becomes a respected and trusted leader, known for her tactical acumen and dedication to the Jedi Code. Luminara also forms a close bond with her Padawan, Barriss Offee, whom she mentors and trains in the ways of the Force.

Luminara Unduli's character is known for her stoic and composed demeanor, often maintaining a sense of serenity and mindfulness even in the midst of battle. She embodies the Jedi teachings of peace, selflessness, and self-control, and is deeply committed to defending the galaxy from the forces of darkness.

However, in the animated series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars", Luminara Unduli faces challenges and setbacks, including the capture of her Padawan Barriss Offee by the dark side and the manipulation of events by the Sith. Despite these challenges, Luminara remains steadfast in her commitment to the Jedi Order and the Republic, and continues to fight for the cause of peace and justice throughout the Clone Wars.

Luminara Unduli's story ultimately meets a tragic end in "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith" when she is betrayed and executed by the Sith Lord Darth Sidious during Order 66, the infamous protocol that leads to the purge of the Jedi Order by the Clone Troopers under the control of the Sith. Her sacrifice serves as a poignant moment in the Star Wars saga, highlighting the dangers and consequences of the Clone Wars and the fall of the Jedi Order.
