The Republic’s Clone Troopers may be bred for battle, but even the finest soldiers eventually break under the crushing weight of legions of B1 Battle Droids. Despite possessing little cunning or tactical intelligence, these droids march heedlessly forward to crush any resistance through raw attrition alone. Mindlessly loyal and eminently expendable, the Separatist Alliance has few qualms about sacrificing endless waves of B1 Battle Droids to subdue a planet.
While they may not possess the same skills as traditional flesh-and-blood troops, B1 Battle Droids do have a number of features specifically designed to exploit their superior numbers. Unlike their organic counterparts, B1 Battle Droids are interlinked, allowing them to quickly coordinate with one another to form a cohesive army that opposing commanders can only dream of.

The B1 Battle Droids Unit Expansion gives you the chance to supplement your Separatist Alliance forces with even more battle droids. Nine unpainted and finely-sculpted B1 Battle Droid miniatures identical to those found in the Star Wars: Legion Clone Wars Core Set stand ready to form the backbone of your army, including two miniatures carrying heavy weapons. Joining these miniatures are a unit card and a variety of upgrade cards inviting you to make your own personal refinements to your battle droids.

Note: This is the B1 Battle Droids UNIT expansion (8 Regular Clankers), not to be confused with the B1 Battle Droids UPGRADE expansion (4 Specialist Clankers).
Extra Note: While the original Legion figures were "fixed pose" and made of a few pieces, the Clone War separatist figures are supplied on sprues (like the old airfix models, or like Games Workshops models) with more individual parts. This allows more flexibility in creating individual and more dynamic poses, rather than having an army of identical figures, and can make painting easier. But this does mean they are more fiddly and time consuming to put together. So please bear that in mind - Especially if you're thinking of building a massive separatist droid army.

Really good kit even though it's a bit fiddly. The sculpts and details are very faithful to the source material resulting in a box set that rewards you with some awesome minis if you have the patience for it.

These are excellent little models with great detail. Very easy to paint using a few citadel paints. You get 9 models which are quite tricky for non model makers but the end result is some of the best that fantasy flight have done

These minis are really beautifully detailed and im really enjoying painting them but fantasy flight didnt think there construction through the instructions are hard to follow because they are so small and the parts are tiny with not good guide holes so mistakes are very easy to make i had to abandon certain parts of the rocket launcher for not being able to get them in place my advice is to assemble the rocketlauncher first then put the head on after or you risk putting the head in the wrong position for the scope

this is another good product from ffg for an experienced modeller or wargamer its no problem cutting them off the sprue and glueing them together but if you are new to the hobby it can be fiddly as they are quite thin so care must be taken. comes with all the cards and tokens they need just like all ffg products

Fantastic sculpts, easy to assemble and paint, although the arms and legs can be fiddly, and the two part heads are so easy to lose
